A plain-language overview for the current Novelwick beta.
Your writing data
Novelwick stores account information, projects, chapters, planning data and collaboration state in its Supabase backend so your workspace can sync across sessions.
BYOK API keys
Your AI provider key is stored locally in your browser and is sent only when you intentionally use an AI feature. Novelwick does not include API keys in support diagnostics.
AI requests
When you use an AI feature, the context required for that request is sent to the provider you selected. The provider handles that request under its own terms and privacy policy.
Support diagnostics
Support requests may attach limited diagnostics such as app version, current page, browser information and current project ID when available. API keys and manuscript text are not attached automatically.
Your content
Your writing remains your content. Novelwick does not claim ownership of manuscripts you create in the service.
